# CodePress product overview

CodePress is a platform for building and operating AI agents that carry work across codebases and connected business tools.

## Core capabilities

- Start agents on demand from the web, desktop, Slack, or another supported surface.
- Trigger repeatable workflows from schedules, webhooks, and connected-system events.
- Connect repositories and business tools deliberately at the organization level.
- Run agent work in bounded workspaces rather than in a user's browser session.
- Keep code changes reviewable through branches, pull requests, CI, and normal merge controls.
- Preserve session messages, tool results, and delivered work for later review.

## Typical workflow

1. A user or automation supplies a concrete job and relevant context.
2. CodePress starts an agent session scoped to an organization and workspace.
3. The agent uses only the repositories and integrations made available to that job.
4. The agent reports progress and can request clarification or approval.
5. The result is delivered through the appropriate reviewable system, such as a GitHub pull request.

## Access boundary

Public marketing and documentation pages describe the product. Dashboard, share, and customer-specific URLs can contain private organization data and are not public documentation.
